Part of ArcelorMittal’s XCarb® recycled and renewably produced initiative, the EcoSheetPile™ Plus brand offers steel sheet piles manufactured from 100 % recycled scrap metal and with 100 % renewable electricity, allowing 30 % lower CO2-eq. emissions than with the usual energy mix. Certified by a specific Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), the production of the EcoSheetPiles™ Plus range emits as low as 370 kg CO2-eq. per tonne of steel produced.

The SmartSheetPile solutions provide an automatised monitoring system of the structure, helping to minimise downtime, optimise maintenance and extend the lifetime.

Advantages of AZ® Series: Optimized Section Modulus and Superior Interlock

The essential characteristics of Z-sections include the continuous form of the web and the location of the interlock symmetrically on each side of the neutral axis. Both aspects create a positive influence on the section modulus. The AZ® series, a section with extraordinary characteristics and the proven qualities of the Larssen interlock, has the following advantages: 

  • extremely competitive section-modulus-to-mass ratio; 
  • increased inertia for reduced deflection;
  • large width, resulting in competitive installation performance; 
  • good corrosion resistance, the steel being thickest at the critical corrosion points.

Versatile Sheet Pile Solutions and Tie Back Systems

Our sheet pile solutions offer versatile interlocking options, including AZR Larssen interlocks compliant with EN 10248. Available AZ, AU™, PU®, and GU®-N sheet piles can be interlocked, with a theoretical swing of αmax = 5°. Delivery options include bent piles with a maximum bending angle of β = 25°, typically delivered as single piles, with double piles available upon request. Special corner sections enable easy formation of corner or junction piles without specialized fabrication. Additionally, tie back systems provide supplementary support for retaining walls, including waler and strut bracing for temporary cofferdams and anchor walls or other anchor systems for permanent or large retaining walls.

Our steel sheet piles meet EN 10248-2:1995 standards for shape and dimension tolerances, with handling holes available upon request. We offer a range of steel grades, including special options like S 460 GP and ASTM A 572, ensuring durability for various applications. Galvanization impacts steel composition and must be specified in orders.
